They are also becoming an ever-increasing percentage of the workforce, estimated to be 30 per cent in the next 10 years. As they climb the corporate ladder, take on leadership roles and eventually take over running corporations, businesses will have to take note of their unique perspectives and adapt to their preferred ways of working and their expectation of how they are treated in the workplace. They are going to have to review their operating procedures that the traditionalists, baby boomers and Gen Xs have developed.
